My DD too. Shes never been able to walk or stand, but gets around on wheels just fine.My 13 and 21 year old kids have never been able to stand but they roll all over the place.

My standing ability is very little. You find ways around it. Empty the top tray of dishwasher--sit. Empty bottom tray--sit. You get the drift.
I have used either a WC or scooter for years at WDW. I usually bring my own because I can't do the walking in airports either! If you are having so much difficulty, your doctor should prescribe either a WC or ECV for you. It is only a matter of time before I am going to need a powerchair......and this time I am not going to be dragged to it kicking and screaming!!! I've come to realize (finally) that instead of taking away my independence, it gives it back to me!
If you could be a little more specific, people will try to help you out.I wonder if the cruise line will accommodate those with fibermialgia because I just found out I have it full blown
It is possible to rent a wheelchair from an off-site company and bring it with you on a cruise. They do make allowances so that guests who need to do the mandatory drill in their wheelchair can still do so.I was hoping to rent a wheel chair for me and figure out a way to do the mandatory drill in the wheel chair
