She is such a girly girl but she is only 2. That means she can't do the BBB, any of the tea parties or the Pirates League. Is there anything I can get her into? I will pay anything to let her do something special like this.

Why not dress her up your self (complete with Tiara) and take her to a Princess Lunch? Take her to GF and have her picture taken in a carriage, or on the staircase. DTD has make your own wand and crown.

I would not have your older daughter do the special things until your next trip when they could both participate. 3 is very young and she will not know that she could be doing those activities, unless you tell her. That way both girls can share the fun next time. If this is your only trip planned, then I would pick one special activity and provide a fun activity you create with the younger one, like a PP mentioned.

You can bring her to the barber shop in MK and get some color streaks in her hair. I'm not sure what else they do for kids but it looks fun...

You can also let them design their very own Mickey Ears. I know this stuff isn't the same but if you are "into it" she will be too! :goodvibes

I really like the idea of dressing her up yourself!

I had the same issue with my niece, and that is where my "fairy godmothering" began - I surprised her with a Tink costume and Baby upon arrival, and then surprised her AGAIN with a Cindy dress before her "Princess Dinner."

Hearing about the trip form my brother, I realized that Storey loved the outfits, but would have been fine without them...she was very into Pooh and friends and meeting characters - liked the princesses but wasn't bowled over by them...

Let us know how it goes!

I would do her hair yourself. You can buy the glitter stuff and bring iit from home. You could also have her face painted.

Will she let you do her hair? I was in Target and saw a pony holder and tiara set that was the cutest (I have 2 boys, oh well!). Just like I saw on the girls from BBB. Good Luck

I wouldn't worry about the paid Princess experiences until next trip, for either of the girls.

This is what I'd do - Over on the Creative DISigns board, there are GREAT ideas for gifts tags, candy wrappers, etc. I would put together a princess welcome gift for each girl (or even order one like this http://www.disneyflorist.com/product/waltdisneyworldflorist-a-royal-welcome/display for each of them), along with a princess dress and matching shoes (I use http://www.littledressupshop.com/princessdresses for costumes and these shoes to have something more comfortable than real dress-up shoes http://www.skechers.com/shoes-and-c...hers_cali_gear/product/calies_-_sherbert/hplp). I'd also make some little pixie gifts to leave as surprises in the room over the course of the week. Then for a princess experience, I'd book a pre-opening breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table, because nothing says "special" like walking down an empty Main Street to the Castle, decked out in Princess dresses & tiaras! I'd also plan on some time to explore things like Cinderella's Wishing Well and the rose garden, the places princesses like to relax, and get some great photos in the process.

Then on the next trip, when they're both old enough to enjoy it, the Perfectly Princess Tea, the BBB, and all those other things will be there waiting.

Why are you stressing over how terrible it is for a 2 yr old not being able to do something she doesn't even know exists while being incredibly lucky just to be going to such a wonderful place! A 2 yr old will be overwhelmed as it is with just the place, let alone a few rides and seeing a character or 2. My goodness a 2 yr old is thrilled to go to the local petting zoo let alone Disney, they don't need anything "extra" to make their trip.

Save the extras until she is old enough to know about them and anticipate them and even truly remember them!

We only have 1 DD so no issues with 1 getting to do something that the other couldn't. However, there really is so much to do in Disney that I'm sure she won't even know she is missing out on something. Get some ADR's for some character dinings and buy a few dresses for her to wear. I'm sure she'll enjoy herself. My dd's favorite princess dining is the 1900 Park Fare dinner. The character interaction there never seems rushed. It's great!

If you feel you must do something, this is a great idea! :thumbsup2

However, I also have to agree with this.. My DGD's first trip was 2 weeks before she turned three.. We didn't have to lift a finger to do anything "special".. She was soooooo excited by absolutely everything!! One of the things she liked the best? Riding in the tram from the parking lot - when the driver would repeat his speech in Spanish.. She laughed and giggled SO hard every time we had tears running down our cheeks from laughing at her reaction..:rotfl: For some reason, she thought that was the funniest thing in the world!

Your little one is going to be totally mesmerized.. You don't have to do one single extra thing!! :goodvibes

I agree; but think some of the best character opportunities for littles is Akurshus at Epcot. Honestly, being at Disney IS special, just because you know something "exclusive" exists doesn't mean they have to do it. Princesses are plenty girly and just meeting them and seeing the castle and riding the rides is magic enough.

I agree and I think it is probably more a case of you being upset that she won't do these things rather than your 2 year old. She really wont notice and will have such a great time being there with all the things she can do.
