I am SO glad I called Disney Dining yesterday (Sunday 4/6)!

I called Disney Dining yesterday to try to get a breakfast reservation at Tusker House for my birthday on 4/22, and I was finally successful! Then I read about the free dining in August/September that can be reserved starting TODAY for Disney Visa cardholders! I'm NOT tinkering with dining reservations until I arrive at WDW in 8 days!

I think yesterday must've been a good day to call Disney Dining, I called yesterday too, and got everything I wanted, and for the exact times I wanted too.

Yesterday was the calm before the storm! Bet we would've been on hold for a LONG time if we had called today. All the people booking the free dining package for August/September are going to be making their dining reservations, as it's less than 180 days from now!

We are going in October and today was our 180 day out, I was a little worried and almost put it off, but we our dd's really want Crystal Palace at 8:05 one morning. So, I thought I would go ahead and try it. I waited till after 10:00 this morning and got through pretty fast. I think I was on hold less than 10 minutes and then I got all my adr's within a 10 minute span. I was very surprised and really happy.

Actually, I think the people who called today are the people already planning ahead. I believe many had already made their ADR's in anticipation of free dining.

same here, got right through and the places I wanted, not the exact times, but I am not complaining

First off Happy Birthday wishes for the OP!

I too am very glad that I called yesterday. It seems that it was a magical day for many of us. I got Lunch with an Imagineer, which had previously been booked solid!

I called yesterday for my July trip and thought that I might not get the 2 I wanted..but I did!! Le Cellier and Chef Mickey's!!
