I am so excited!

I am singer (as I am sure some people have picked up on now)
and last week I auditioned for our school's 20 member chamber chorus and i got back the results I GOT IN! I was one of the 3 sopranos they chose out of about 30-40something who tried out. I just wanted to share.

Okay. I could list a couple, but the one that stands out the most to me.

My school band concert in 5th grade. There were three people (two trumpetists and a sax player) performing "Somewhere Over the Rainbow." Well, one of the trumpet players got sick that morning. His part was given to... me. This shocked most of the band. "A clarinetist, playing a trumpet part?!" (It can be done.)

I learned the entire piece by that night. I was a nervous wreck, but all went well.

Ironically, the day before, I played a few measures of that same trumpet part, and asked the sax player, "Wouldn't it be funny if I could steal the part?"

yesterday i got a 94 in CHEMISTRY. gahhhh!!!
also, my piano teacher and i decided today that next year i will be trying out for a sacred, classical, and some sort of duet for fine arts next year (music/drama comp.) sooo, i'm excited because that means NEW piano pieces and HARDER piano pieces

but yall's accomplishments are better than mine.
but hey, i'm ok with that.

Wow! Thats great! I auditioned for my schools show choir and they were taking 5 new girls... i am first alternate but they are going to ohio and i still get to go!!! Some girl cant go so i have to take her spot. So i guess all is well
