I am so bummed!

I am planning a trip to WDW with my DS, 3 DGDs and DH in June.
Well I went to the mailbox and found a postcard!
It was 109.00 a night for a DELUXE! I was so excited....We wanted to stay at a deluxe,but had to get a Mod. because of having to get two rooms.
My mod. res. is with AAA and it is still more then this price for a Deluxe on this postcard.
I CANT use it.......It ends 12/26/03.
I tryed to see if they would give me this price for when we are going, but no luck.

So this is why I am so Bummed.
Just had to vent!

It's not just a Disney thing.

I'm on e-mail lists for several hotels in Vegas and all this week I am getting e-mails with incredible rates for days I will be in wdw.

Oh, well.

There's always next year.

Look on the bright side....at least you got this postcard. Think of all of us sitting out here that would have LOVED to receive that postcard and could have actually used it, but our mailboxes remain empty.

Wait a minute....have I just discovered some Disney scheme to send great deals to people who can't use them and not send them to people who can?

Oh I know your pain

I got a postcard, "blast off to space" I think it said, with $79 moderate rate but it ended in Oct and I'm going in December.

I could have used your postcard-- it matches my dates. Too bad they don't let us trade!!!!!

Maybe you'll get another one before june.

I wish we could trade, at least then I would feel like it isnt wasted!
I tried to tell my DH that a christmas trip would make a great christmas present for me!
I wish you could see how hard he laughed!
I cant be too upset we just got back from an Ann. trip in July and we are going again next June to bring the grand kids.
If the truth be known I would love to live there! LOL

If it was up to me guys...Id give you all a postcard with a great rate!

That's an interesting theory. When I went in May, I recieved a post card for Sept/Oct the next year. Last year I went in Dec and I recieved a postcard for Sept/Oct for this year. Maybe they are trying to entice you into a trip beyond your usual visiting time. Its just a shame that they put such narrow restrictions on them.
