Allegiant Air just announced nonstop service from Duluth (DLH) to MCO starting in November...and I just finalized all our flights for a family trip with 14 people and paid too much for a couple of them flying out of MSP for more money than it would cost to fly direct. I am so bummed! :confused3 Of course they are nonrefundable...I don't suppose it will do any good to whine to the airline, either. Oh well, at least we may have more options on our NEXT trip. May have to get annual passes for sure now! :lmao:

Watch out for schedule changes on the tickets you have. If there is a substantial change, you can ask for a refund and rebook it on Allegaint.

OP, did you incorporate the cost of getting from Sanford airport to WDW. Allegiant only flys into Sanford. Of course if you are renting a car anyhow than it didn't really matter. We have Allegiant closer to us, but the hours stink as they only fly 2 days a week. The prices have been excellent, but the extra fees for seats and baggage still make the price higher than I can get at Dulles. So don't forget to add all of the extra into your price when you compare.

Good points! Guess I'll stick with what I have...but next time, if it's just DH and me, we may give them a try anyway. Thanks everybody!
