I am shocked

I had to post this because I am so shocked at how cheeky and money grabbing people can be and how silly others can be.

I have just been on ebay and typed in wedding accessories and the FREE disney fairytale wedding DVD came up for sale and there were 3 people fighting over it and the price had gone up to £25 thats about $40 to £50 dollars I think. I dont understand if people are interested in a Disney wedding and have internet access why have they not researched the actual disney website they would see then that the DVD is free.

I probably shouldnt have done it but I promptly messaged all the bidders telling them to retract there bids. Also gave them a link to the boards to get advice from you wonderful and knowledgable people.

Sorry had to vent a bit I get so annoyed at things like this getting married is expensive enough without people taking advantage.

Why would anyone do such a thing? I could see it (maybe) if you were selling a planning tool that you only get when you sign a contract or something. But the FREE dvd??? IMHO, it's not even very helpful! Good thing they're giving them away - WDW charges for everything, and they've realized this is one thing they can't find anyone to pay for!!!!

I agree did not find it very useful either I just feel for the poor winning bidder although at least if she gets my message in time she may be able to refuse to pay or leave some negative feedback or something. I dont know why but I still feel a bit bad for sending warning messages. Although I did send a message to the seller first and asked to clarify if the dvd was any different and she never replied which I feel she had a responsibility to do.

I'd better send to Disney for a few free ones and put them on ebay quick to make up the $200 difference Disney will be charging for the MK photoshoot

I had spotted them a couple of days ago and thought it a bit cheeky, but I hadn't noticed the price I thought it would be like 50p or £1.

I'm wondering if it would help to let ebay know that this item is available for free from Disney? They can pull the auction.

Are they listing in the auction that they are selling the DVD or does it say something like 'your bidding on the envelope'-- the DVD is free-- because thats a way to get around it. But if its the DVD being offered I would notify Ebay--

I'm shocked at the people who sell their DFTW watches. I'm seriously hoping for those!! No way would I sell them!
