.. to chuck every single textbook, professional journal, and notecard out the window.

I'm nearing the end of my 1st semester of grad school. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE what I'm studying (microbiology and virology), it's a fascinating field and the possibilities once I have my degree are endless. Right now I'm just so incredibly bogged down it's crazy. I have two papers due at the end of this week. One of them is absolutely driving me psycho. It's on the potential use of Viral hemorrhagic fevers as biological weapons, and I have oodles and oodles of information that I need to smush into a 10 page paper. The other one isn't as bad, it's a 5 page paper on zoonotic (passed from animal to human to animal) diseases. That one is a broad enough paper that I can focus on just one or two things. The longer one.. ugh. Not only do I need to discuss the pros and cons of using said biological weapon, but also about the viruses themselves, symptoms, physiology, method of transmission in normal occurences etc.

I wish I could have a glass of wine right now. I'll just stick with my cranberry juice mixed with Sprite. Thank you for listening to the rants of a madwoman.
:tilt:

Aww....sounds fun, although you are really stressing now.

I will trade you for a sick 18yodd in college in the dorms and 20yrs of aging.

No? Good Luck on your stuff!!!:woohoo:

I'm halfway through grad school, though I'm doing my courses mostly online since I live in the sticks. I agree. Grad school at holiday time really, really stinks.
