I am ready to SCREAM!!!

UGH!!! My computer problems have gotten so bad!!! My computer won't even power up...so I can't get my files off! I am soooo ready to scream right about now! My website files, my website editor (download only...no CD...about $100 + program), the ever-so-important wedding video project I was paid for (almost complete, but still in the works), irreplaceable documents and pictures...I'm going absolutely CRAZY!

Sorry...I had to vent...I just don't know what to do!! I feel like I've lost EVERYTHING!

Breathe deep, relax. I am not a computer expert, but if its in the comuter it can be retrieved and shouldn't be lost. Just a matter of finding out the right person to do it. Good luck.

I agree with Prince Eric -- it'll all work out. I know it's frustrating, but in the meantime..

close your eyes, take a deep breath, and think about GIO2 (do I have that right?). Happy thoughts, happy thoughts, happy thoughts, happy thoughts...

Prince Eric - thanks...but you see, my dad works with computers...he knows them very well...even HE is stumped...never have I had a problem that he could not fix. *sigh*

AlexandNessa - GIO2 is Selina's favorite, but he has recently become mine as well (all depends on who I get to talk to more, and get to know better). Thank you as well.

I really am hoping for a miracle that my computer will work...at least long enough for me to get my files off of it.

Well I think your prayer did it IMGONNABE40!!!! My dad figured out something, and my computer is working (at least for the moment). So that means, I can at least back up my files in case the problem occurs again.

Oh no! I've been there with computer problems. I've been through the lost data stage. That's why I have an external hard drive and a bunch of DVDs to back up my important data. My three rules of computing are: back up your data, back up your data, and back up your data!

Barry...yeah, yeah, yeah...I know. I was even told to back up my webeditor BECAUSE it was a download. Never got around to it (was busy USING it). First thing I did when I could get back on, I burned a copy of that, and the folders containing all my website data. **phew**

themepark...don't worry...all pictures of GB Shows are safe...always. I upload them on imagestation, and so I could go back there to get them...or scan them again if I needed to. But as of right now, I don't!!!!
