I have just the values left and 2 Mods. also need to do the Grand Floridian.
so I was thinking opf taking some time to do this. what do you think is the best way? should I come down and do one night each at the vaules. then move over to the mods? I want to try to do all at once. with the deluxe at the end.
for the values. should I stay one night each....two nights at the mods. then stay longer aT the GF??

what do you all think?

Gee, do you really want to switch rooms a total of 8 times in one trip? YOu could "group" the values together (ASM, ASSp, ASMu) as one (I'd pick movies over the others, then lump POFQ and POR together then hit Coronado, Caribbean Beach and end it with at least 2 nights at the GF. Good luck. I'd love to stay at all the resorts someday, but my DH is against the Contemporary and YC/BC. :( Maybe I'll have to do some solo or mother/daughter, mother/son trips. Have fun!

We resort hop every trip but we make sure we spend a minimum of 3 or 4 nights per resort. Otherwise you spend your whole trip moving. Keep in mind rooms generally aren't ready till after 3 pm. So you'll be without a room on move day. A different resort everyday , why bother? Its not like you'll really appreciate or experience the resort in that short a time. It would be the same thing if I just walked through the resort, I'd get just as much out of it. Besides hopping every trip after 3-4 days per resort just means a great excuse to go back!!! :cool1:

weve only got the monorail resorts to do but think there too steep a price as we are in dvc we tend to stay in diferant hotels the first couple of nights as we get there late and traveling from the uk usaly wekend this time doing 4 resorts over 3 weeks had planed on 5 but waitlist dident come throught usaly its 3 over 2 weeks

well, I could "group" the AS as one....but would that "really" be doing all the resortss? I will do this solo. so that I could do it with very miminal bags. I was thinking of taking 2 weeks to do. I could probaly push for two nights at the AS and do 3 nights at the Moderates. then brake the 9 nights into the deluxe.
the reason for doing this is I am writing a book in reguards to all the disney resorts. and I thought it fair that I have stayed at all them....

also I have done this before...I did alot of the deluxe concierge, in a months time. I find If I pack up like 6 am in the morning and take a cab....I never seem to have to wait for a room to be ready...I miss no time at all!
I did this a few weeks ago also at the YC/BC to the WL....and even got an upgrade!
thanks for your input!!

It is easily doable, butcan be exhausting--some of your "need to trys" are close together. Book your AS close together as they are near one another, you didn't mention which Mods so I don't know logistically where they fit in. I would end at the GF. Stay the longest at the level you can afford the longest stay at.
I just posted a 5 resort brief overview ( I'll bump it up for you) and didn't have any difficulty or lose any time with the switches, but I now have that down to a science, looks like you do as well.

I say.. go for it! You have a goal to achieve! Do it all at once and be done. I like your idea. Do one night for each value and 2 nights each mod and the rest at GF! Good luck! Please let us know how it went! How exciting!!
