We always tell my mom that we want to take her back to WDW now that she is in a wheelchair and/or walker, so we could go to the front of the lines hehehehe. Give that some thought before you reject the surgery idea. It'd be a nice place to recuperate

Hey Glo, I got the same weather scenario when I got home except more snow and also I broke a knuckle on my right hand, the cast was just taken off today but I still can't move my fingers and they are both taped together, no work for the next two weeks and move them as least as possible. The good thing is I did my decorations before I left, I have to do all my wrapping this week though, HELPPPPPPPPPPP!!!
Let's go back to WDW and recuperate there!!! PD going your way my friend, this is not fun!

Aw Glo, that stinks, especially right before the holidays.

One suggestions, scale down a bit. If decorating means climbing ladders and being on your feet for an extended time, then just don't do it.

Sometimes you have to step back and look at the whole picture when you're stressing out because you have too much to do. (Spoken by someone who's been waking up at 5:00am these past few days. )

If the only thing that's manageable is sticking a wreath on the door, then that's it for this year. It's still going to be Christmas, even if nothing is hanging from the roof.

Glo here's some Pixie Dust that your string of unlucky events comes to a end soon

Now you want to talk about a string of bad luck. On Sunday my water heater went down. No hot water till Thursday and it's only a temporary fix. They are coming to replace the heater this week. On Tuesday my phones went dead. Needed new phone lines. It doesn't end here, yesterday on Friday the 13, it became the frosting on the cake. I am redoing my den over. From top to bottom. Yesterday I was polyurethaning the floor. (no idea how to spell this word.) I grabbed a can of marine urethane from the basement by accident. Well my floor is tacky and sticky. Today I will be removing this from the floor and refinishing it again. Last night I went to get a couple of bowls from the cupboard and half my dishes can tumbling down, breaking bowls, cups and saucers. I now need to see if I can replace these dishes from Replacement China.

I've come to the conclusion, don't touch anything. Don't do anything. Hopefully today will be a better day. I'm sure hoping things don't run in 3's because I'm on number 4.
