as a seasick prone person am I making a huge mistake in this cabin? I had someone telling me today that near the front of the ship on the upper decks is the biggest mistake I could make. What does everyone think?

My game plan is to take ginger capsules starting the week before the cruise, start bonine the day before and take it the whole cruise, and wear a wristband.

Honestly, Donna, I don't think the location of your stateroom makes one iota of difference with seasickness. If you are prone to motion sickness I would take a bonine (brand name for meclizine) before sailing and for as long as you think you may have a problem.

I think you'll be absolutely fine. :) Enjoy!

Thanks Michelle. I was tired last night and let someone get to me. I am going to do fine. My other cruises were on ships that weighed 15 and 36 thousand tons each. So this big, beautiful ship will be fine! :)

Hi Donna
WE are staying in rooms 7002 and 7003 this weekend. I will let you know how it is when we get back. I'm not expecting it to be too terrible though. Last year we had rooms at the same end of the ship on deck 6 and they were fine. We actually got sea sick half way through dinner at Animator's palate.

I'm excited to hear about how your trip is also. Our next trip in right around your room.

Donna, HI HI HI
howareya?
I was sick all night on the LOL BIG red boat three years ago. I entered into my Wonder cruise with much trepidation. Girl, I had no problem at all. Do you realize just how big THAT "boat" is? :-)

Anyway I WAS at the rear on deck 7 and the only queasiness I ever did experience was when the ship did a 180 because we had to head back to Cape Canaveral to drop off a family whose son broke his arm on the basketball courtl 40or 50 miles out.

Now don't forget to RUN to that Treasure Ketch shop on board and ask for the Pin of the Month Artist Choice DCL pins for all your ex- pin trading buddies.

Let me know how you felt afterward !!!
