I Am New Looking For A Disneyland Pal

Hi, I am brand spankin' new to this board. I recently got an annual pass & find it hard to find someone to pal around with to go on rides & stuff during the week. I have a few friends that have annual passes, but they either cannot go during the week because of work, our schedules don't match or they flake out.

I am not looking for anything else, but to hang out with & ride the rides. Like, 'hey let's go to Haunted Mansion" & "OK let's go on Splash Mtn".

Not really into collecting pins, dressing up with giant disney hats, or getting my picture taken with every single Character! haha!

Just to hang out with & have a blast a few times each week....

You may want to post this need, on the solo adult travelers forum, that is on this website. I personally do not need anyone to hold my hand whilst hanging on the Indy ride, or the Matterhorn. Good luck, and happy hunting!

Just wanted to say welcome to the DISboards! Hope you can find a DL pal to go on the rides with.

I'm wondering if someone might know of another board you could also join that might have more locals on it. There are locals on this board but i thought i remembered reading awhile back that someone thought these disney boards don't have as many locals as some of the other ones. Sorry I can't be of more help but good luck in your quest!

Hey 6 Foot - Welcome.

The easiest way to meet some of the folks here - as well as us locals - is to start posting away! That way we also get to know who you are a bit more. (Putting your first name in your sig helps, too!)

Once we all start getting to know you, you would be amazed at how many people say "Hey - let's meet at the parks!" You might even get adopted by a family! If it's adults you are looking for, the Singles forum is definitely another good place to start.

Another tip - get yourself some Lime Green Mickey Heads - the Disney Paints swatches from Home Depot in Alien Green. Laminate up a pair and make it into a key chain to stick on your backpack or pin it to your ballcap. Or get a DIS hat from Cafe Press. That's the Unofficial/Official way for DISer's (folks on the forums) to recognize each other in the parks. You will get people coming up to you to say "Hello" when they see your LGMHs!
