I have enjoyed looking around this site, so I decided to join in on the fun. We are going to WDW April 30-May 5 staying at FW Cabins. This will be our 1st time staying on site and we will be with my parents who, can you believe it have never been. We are looking forward to maybe meeting so others while we are there. See ya soon.

How fun! I have always wanted to stay at the Cabins. Have a great time and welcome to the DIS!

Welcome! I have seen the cabins but never stayed in one. We stayed at FW campground twice. They look lovely. I'm sure your stay will be magical.

Thanks for the welcome. We are so excited and it seems so close. I look forward to getting to know you all better.

Welcome! You'll love this site! I sometimes come here in between trips to get my disney fix! Well, like now!

Enjoy your trip! I look forward to hearing how you liked the cabins! I've always wanted to stay in them.

HI and Welcome:wave:

Hi,
I'm new here, too, and we're planning a trip for December. At first we were going to stay off-site for the extra room of a condo/villa/house, but I think we've decided that w/ a 3-year-old, it'll be best to stay on-site. It'll be me, DH, DD, and my ILs. Will y'all be getting one cabin or two. I'd really like to try the cabins out, but wasn't sure about how it would work w/ us all in one. Will be interested to see how you like the cabins! Hope y'all have a wonderful time!

Our last trip was in December 2003 and we stayed in a house off site. I was with my IL's at the time but there was like 18 of us, so we rented 2 homes and did the whole commuting thing. Now that we are going back with my parents, we decided to stay on site and the cabins seemed to be the best option. The only thing I am worried about is the 1 bathroom since we will all be in one cabin. I'm sure we can work around all of that.

In 2003 I found out that staying off site with more than one family really stunk. Especially it being the IL's because I couldn't argue. There were many times that I wanted to stay and do or see something, but others wanted to go back, it was a real drag. I figured by staying on site, if someone wanted to leave, they can hop a bus back to the resort.

I hope you have a great time, whatever you decide.

You will love it here! Everyone is friendly and has a lot of information.
As for staying on property, nothing like it. Sometimes there are better "deals" off site but when it comes to convenience and atmosphere it is worth every penny and they seem to have something to fit every budget! Have a great time. I always do!
