I am making a "countdown calendar" for my son...need some ideas

He asks every morning how many more days until we leave for Disney World. Once before I made one of those paper links using Mickey Mouse colors and he ripped one off each day, made it kinda fun for him. Well, he remembers doing that and wants to make something different so he decided a Mickey Mouse calendar.

I was thinking I could cut Mickey ears and put a number the # on the front and on the back maybe something to do with WDW. I was going to do maybe name a character that begins with A...etc etc, well that covers me for 26 days LOL. I need 20 more days. Does anyone have any ideas on things I could put on there...Maybe like what park has ______ in it or something.

Do the letters first, then numbers so that the numbers are smaller and easier to think of things for. 3 mountains, OOH mix them up! Do 11? I think resorts, ___ buildings at the resort you're staying at ____ # of pools, 4 parks, 2 waterparks, 1 world for the last day!! Umm....The letter X can be X-tra magic, and I think I'm out of ideas for now! Good luck, that sounds like fun!!

(BTW, I'm down to like 3 days!!!)

We just do the ole paper countdown chain. I do write on the links if something special is happening that day, ie. birthday etc.
