WOW! I did the Monthly Pass from WW's on Sunday evening. Since then I have been using the Points Tracker on-line. It is GREAT! And has so many foods already it in, and it is so easy to add new foods. Doing a recipe should be a breeze, but I tried today, and I know that I messed something up. But I will get it figured out soon, I'm sure.

I haven't even had my first Weigh In (I think that I will go tomorrow), but I am very happy with the program so far - particularly this Monthly Pass and the eTools! :thumbsup2

Glad you signed up and are enjoying what etools has to offer. I still haven't explored it all, just not enough time, but I do enjoy what I have found. Good luck on your first week!

I do the monthly pass as well. I really like the recipe builder. I put in our family Apple Crisp recipe and then modified it till it dropped from 9 pts to 4 pts per serving. And it was so easy to do. I've also done chocolate chip cookies. Put in the full recipe and then a modified lower fat version with extra fiber.

Also the activity point finder is great. Because instead of going based on exertion level, you can pick an actual activity, even house cleaning. Sometimes I only think of activity as when i get on the treadmill. But vacuuming counts!

That sounds great! I tried to do a box of scalloped potatoes last this afternoon - it was not the brand that they had listed and I had used 1% milk, so I wanted to know if that would make a difference. But it did not work. I had put in 5 servings, the total points for the potatoes and mix, and the total margarine and milk and it came up with 11 points. It's almost as if it should have been 1/5th of that. Any tips?

I just did that! On Monday we had our Girl Scout Cookie Delivery. Bending, stacking, packing hundreds of cases of cookies. I couldn't find anything that seemed to fit, so I put in "stacking firewood." :confused3 Boy that got me a lot of points! And yesterday I cleaned the bathroom - that got me points too! Cool!

Hmmmm, I'm not really sure why it didn't work. Maybe when you put in your ingredients did you put in real potatoes and instead the ones in the box, although real, are dehydrated, and that changed it somehow? I haven't tried using it for a packaged product. But when i change something, like the milk, I look at just the nutrition info for the product as packaged. Usually there are two columns and the second one says as prepared. So I use the first column then add in the light milk or light margarine/ or lack of them, into the total calories and divide by actual servings. Does that make sense?

And the great thing about the recipe builder for the choc chip cookies particularly is I never put in the full bag of chips. so I knew I was saving calories by only putting in half of the choc, but didn't really know how to figure. I found it's definitely worth playing around with!

I am so glad to read your post. Your enthusiasm is contagious. I don't do WW, but I want to from what you've just described.

I hope you find all that you need with this and that you are going to be seeing a less of yourself soon as you get that weigh in.

Hi Beth!

I joined on Sat :cool1: I also got the monthly pass, but haven't gotten to check out their site online yet... now I will do it to see what you mean.

Best of luck. WW works for sure! I lost a bunch in 99 and kept off most of it, now I am getting the winter lbs off!
