I am Loving f1.2

I just had to return my 50 1.2 which I rented for 10 days, that was a very very sad day. Although for any of you who have the extra cash to upgrade from the 50 1.4 it is well worth the price. Here are two of the many great pictures I was able to get with the lens.

We went for an Easter Brunch this morning. I took the 50 1.2 to play. Here are a few of what I took at the restaurant.

Mmmmm blackberries are my fave. :thumbsup2

I really like the shot of the outside table, nice and hazy (not sure if that's the exact word I really want)...looks like something out of a dream.

I'll be joining the game, at least for a week. I'm renting an 85mm f/1.2 for a week to see if I like it enough to justify the purchase price. I love the idea of using it for portrait shots, but I'm concerned that f/1.2 on an 85mm is too unworkable for kids. I'll post the results.

I LOVE the shots you got with your new toy:-) I am addicted to my 50mm as well. Bokeh is amazingly addicting...I see everything in bokeh now! I don't know how I lived without my 50mm before!

The Ferris Wheel bokeh is just beautiful!!! :lovestruc

Wow, some great shots.
If you ever have the time to browse you might enjoy the work of Uta Barth.

Thanks for sharing your wonderful work.
