I've had it with the way I eat and eat and eat. I really need some accountability! I am already a good exerciser, but I must start eating healthier.... so I'm putting myself out here to ask if I can join with all you WISHers.

I think I'm so frustrated because I usually start a good eating plan in the spring and usually lose some weight as a result. This year I'm not sure what my hold up has been....It is already May and I'm up 5 pounds and bathing suit season is right around the corner!

I've read some of your posts where you are going shopping for smaller sizes and I have to admit I am so envious:( I'm usually there by now and I feel so icky about myself.

I'm not a big poster, but I want to let you know I'm joining you tomorrow and making a change for the best, hoping to be more like all of you who are so dedicated. You've really inspired me.
 
Hey Tinks- A great motivator for me has been the WISH journal board. If you promise to be honest with yourself on the journal it is a great way to maintain accountability.

your story sounds like mine, as a faithful aerobics class participant I never managed to lose those last 7 pounds after my last DD birth and then added another 13 lbs over 5 years.

for me cutting back on my portions made a BIG difference! also -- kicking up my activity from 3-4 times a week to 6 times a week. at least one of my activity days are "active rest" workouts, which is yoga, pilates, walking but not powerwalking, or bike ride.

have you tried pilates?? I think it really firmed up my abs and toned down my bod some. I'm no hard body for sure, but I could feel a difference in my strength. I love yoga as well for that reason.

I unofficially do WW -- just found the info through different websites and buddies here on WISH. WW helped me remember how much I should be eating and helps me to plan and cut myself off when I'm done. Also the plan encourages me to get active to earn extra points through activity.

PD -- you are so WORTH it!

Ohmom, you sound just like me!!! I am trying to up my exercise to 5 days a week. I do running, spinning and body pump. I've done pilates and liked it, but the club doesn't offer it at good times. Thanks so much for your encouragement. We're all in this together because we all want to improve ourselves!

Yesterday I improved but still wasn't great about my eating. Today, I am doing well and plan to continue that trend. It helps that my PMS ended today;) Whew...those cravings when it's that TOM, ugh! I also do an unofficial WW. I don't attend the meetings anymore, but I have all the info from my prior post-baby weightloss through WW plan. I need to concentrate on being faithful to my points for the day. Invariably I go over by 2-3 points, which really adds up. I'm only allowed 20 points and I do not lose if I go over 20 at all. I'm actually wondering if I'll even lose at 20 points:( My body wants to hang onto the weight.

Sorry to be long....thanks for the welcomes! I'll be hanging around and hopefully be a loser too:D
