this guy:
want to know why? becaue he gets to sit on a COUCH!
Well my couch was supposed to be delivered today. Supposed to being the key words.
I was in class from 1-3:45. It was scheduled so that the couch would be delivered at 4. I left class 15 min early and put my phone on- there was a message from the trucking company that the couch had two fork holes in the back (why did someone stab my couch with a fork? and how could you see such small holes??
) Ok, deep breath, i call the trucking company back. "yep i still want the couch, they can get me a nondamaged one in another 11 weeks" I walk back to my apartment, 20 min later (3:55pm) and the truck is not there. Apparently they decided that I didn't want the couch and left.
I told the trucking company, "get them back here! I want the couch!" (It will be another 4 weeks before the trucking company is even in this rural part of PA due to Thanksgiving). They told me tough luck, and when I got upset, her comment was "it's just a couch!"
Dude, I paid $2,000 for that couch 11 weeks ago and I deserve to have it!!!!! I'm tired of sitting on the floor. So now Pottery Barn (where I got the couch from) is trying to figure out what to do. Their solution will certainly be interesting!
My mom says that they should get me a couch, any couch in any color or my damaged couch to me in the next two days.
I am hating the trucking company right now for being a bunch of complete morons with no common sense and no customer service. If Pottery Barn doesn't help me quickly and soon, I will just ask for my money back. I can't wait another 11 weeks for a sleeper sofa (imagine ordering it in the middle of August and getting it delivered at the end of January!)
Anyone else have any ideas besides asking Pottery Barn to figure it out with the trucking company that they hired to get me my couch?? The couch is only worth it at this point because I love the couch and because I have waited this long for it...
