I am intrigued by the Rainforest Cafe...

for my DS birthday breakfast. What can anyone tell me about the RC? Would I need PS for breakfast? Especially since it is going to be a Saturday morning??

I would say keep it safe and get reservations. Its a busy restaraunt. I would totally see if you can eat upstairs as thats where all the big wild robotic animals are such as the elephants, apes etc. If you DS is very young and possibly could be afraid of the loud noises and the large moving animals then see if you can eat down. The food there is spectacular and the service is wonderful. I recommend this restaraunt any day.

never had breakfast... but atmosphere is awesome! food... i could care less i could get a better meal at mcdonalds!

I have not eaten there for breakfast, but for dinner. The atmosphere is great. Leaves and trees and waterfalls and vines all over, along with huge fish tanks and audio-animatronic animals such as gorillas, elephants, snakes, and butterflies. Every 30 minutes the rainforest does a "thunderstorm" where the lights flash on and off (not completely, they just kinda dim) and you hear thunder noises. It's really a fun restaurant.

I've been there for dinner before and was very happy with the atmosphere. WMy family sat 2-3 tables down from a huge group of animals and were able to watch them "come to life" every 15 minutes. All in all it's a great restaurant. A+ :thumbsup2

Went there last year and I have to say that although the atmosphere was nice, the food wasn't very good and the service was not up to standards for me. I've been to a few different RFCs, and this one was the worst.
