I am in so much pain!!!! VENT

MY ear started bothering me Sunday. Pain and a pain that shot down my neck across my cheeck and then around the top of my ear. It was on and off but last night I went to bed and woke up at midnight crying in pain it was so bad. I took 2 asprin and hope it would go away so I could get some sleep Wellit didnt and finally at 230 I took some nyquil to basically knock myslef out. I am calling the doctor the a.m. but unless she os open past 5 I will have to have DH come home early from work as I cant go during the day as I have my sons and ds6 is still in the spica cast. I cant believe this hurts so much. I didtnt cry this much when i had my kids. What could be causing this? I have never had an ear infection but this is crazy

An ear infection is very painful. Good luck & hope you get an early appointment to see the doctor. Try cotton & Advil.

Have you had your wisdom teeth removed? That can cause it!

I hope you get better soon. There's nothing worse than an ear ache or tooth ache.

My sister had a lot of problems with her ears as an adult, one ear infection after another. I've never had an ear infection myself, but they must be terribly painful, because she was prescribed Vicodin for the pain more than once. Definitely get to the doctor as soon as possible so that you can be feeling better soon!

I woke up saturday am with pain in the left side of my neck. At first I thought it might be strep. But it was only on the outside and it was sore to the touch. Sunday night was a bad night. I could not leave work yesterday to go to the doc. Then last night my ear started hurting on the same side. I tryed tylonel, motrin and advil and nothing is touching the pain. I woke up around midnight last night and wanted to cry it hurt so bad. I actually have an appointment at 9:45. Ive never had anything like this. I think it might be an ear infection but dont know. I hope you feel better and can make it to the doc.

Shonds like when my MIL had Trigeminal neuralgia. I know that it is VERY paninfull. I hope you feel better soon.
