Hey guy's

DH got us tickets to see Elton John at Powderham Castle in Exeter on July 22nd!

I am quite excited as it's not someone you get a chance to see very often. We are also going to see Bon Jovi in June and Meatloaf in July. So a very busy time dancing away ;)

Has anyone else got some great concerts lined up this year??

Wow Kaylee that's a bit of a range you got there. No concerts here this year. We saw Neil Diamond last year and he was just ab-fab.

Great News Kaylee - Lots of people seem to be playing at Powderham Castle this year, we visited there last weekend (took DS to the Teddy Bears Picnic!) and the grounds are really beautiful overlooking the Starcross/Exmouth estuary. Have a great time!

Richard. :)

In April I saw SClub United and Ronan Keating. In May I saw Darius and Westlife. My next concert is in July(Live and Loud at Hampden Park) loads of groups on including Blue, Busted, Gareth Gates, David Sneddon, Mystique, Sugababes etc.. I'm seeing Meatloaf in November and hopefully Elton John in December.

I Love concerts. :teeth: :teeth: :teeth:

We went to see Elton John last dec it was fantastic ! We are going to see Meatloaf in November, can't wait for that!:)

:D Kaylee - Elton John - fantastic.

But

BON JOVI

I've tried so hard to get tickets for my number one band . . all to no avail ....... so far.

I'm taking DS to see Eminem in Glasgow on 24th June...he doesn't know yet!

Saw Elton John at the Newcastle Arena about 2 years or so back...Excellent show. I believe he's totally solo this tour...no backing musicians, that'd be good to see.

Not wanting to knock old Marvin Lee Aday ( Meatloaf ) but I remember seeing him back in 1985 at Newcastle City Hall in his heyday. I preferred him then when his size lived up to his name i.e. BIG!! ....but then again I'm a sad old git who still remembers paying £1.60 to see Queen at Southampton Gaumont in 1973!!!!

Now I know I'm getting old when I start recalling " the good old days.....!!" LOL

Annie..............I love it :D

I had four CD's to replace my old LP's for my Birthday ;)

Mike - £1.60 to see Queen WOW what a bargain! It is £60 a ticket now to see Elton John :(

Kaylee,

£60!!!! We paid £25 at the Newcastle Arena two years back...that's inflation for you.

Having said that I've just looked at eBay and 2nd row tickets at Hampton Court have already got bids of £360 the pair!!!!!
with 3 days left on the auction.

Perhaps on second thoughts £60 isn't too bad after all !

I still have nightmares about Elton John songs! LOL
When I was a child my older brother was a HUGE fan, even to the extent of supporting Watford FC when he was the manager!!! Every time 'Elt' released a new single he's put his record player (remember them ;)) on repeat and play the new single over and over and over again for hours. It was like some kind of cruel torture and turned many great songs into things I lived to dread!!!

Have a great time, he's a great artist, I'm over my fear now! :)

I missed Alice Cooper touring last year when I was around 8 months pregnant as DH wasn't too keen on taking me in that state :( still sulking about that one.
