I just don't think it's worth it to me. I don't know.

I am good about doing my WATP's video's at home now and I do the FIRM weights/sculpt videos. I feel my muscles get so much more out of that then Curves. I am thinking about stopping by the new Y and checking out the pool. Maybe get back into to swimming for some overall exercise...

I just don't feel like Curves is it. I do notice it works well for my arms and shoulders though, but I can do that with the FIRM too right?

Just thinking outloud! :)

I was a Curves Member for a year...only attended for about 9 months.
This was a before I had my son, I had lost almost 70 lbs and joined Curves to help maintain. I enjoyed the social aspects of it, but never saw much of a difference in my my body or felt like I was getting stronger. However there were plenty of women who showed big changes while I was at Curves.
I stopped going about the time I got pregnant.
Now I am working on getting my extra preg. weight off.

I would suggest finding some type of exercise you like and can do often. If you don't like it you won't do it.

You have to find and do the exercise that you will do! So if Curves isn't working for you and you like doing the WATP and Firm videos then I say leave Curves.

I just joined the new Y near us, and it is fabulous. They offer lots of great classes. I really like the spinning class for a tough workout, but they also have lots of other classes, including some with weights. My husband likes swimming laps, and we both do the weight machines.

Yah, I never felt curves was working me hard enough. I prefer to work out harder and see bigger changes in my body.

Although, I think it is great for those that perhaps are in poor shape to begin with or older or something.

I also quit curves. Like some of you I didn't find it to be a hard enough work out. My mom and I joined together and she has had great luck with it. She looks and feels good. I found that the hours didn't work well for me and 2 - 3 visits a week weren't enough. I have since been doing Atkins and the WATP for ABS tapes. I have lost 48 lbs! Curves was not the ticket for me.

Make sure you read the contract you signed. I tried to also quit the curves I belonged to. Their hours I also found too limiting, and did not work well with when I needed to be there. I could not get out of the contract, and ended up paying for many months that I never went. FYI/ with my curves, the 12 month contract was actually 13 months (go figure?)
