Except for our Disneymoon in 1985 :love2: my family has always stayed at the Fort. We always go on the odd year but we didn't go in 2013 because DW wants a big Disney trip for our 30th anniversary in 2015:love:. We have decided to do a 7 day Disney cruise :boat: and a 14 day stay in one of the other Disney resorts.
:worship: DW wants a "luxury trip" Stay in hotels and eat in restaurants, no RV

We will be taking our DS16 & DS14, this is still our family vacation.

So my fellow FW campers I will miss you all in August of 2015. :(

We didn't do the cruise, but we did the "luxury" trip for my 50th last year; Club Level, Theme Park view at the Poly. It was nice. I enjoyed it immensely. But I'm SO GLAD to be going back to the Fort in April.

Enjoy! And don't worry... The Fort will still be there when you're ready to go back. :)

sapdaddy2, you are very wise.

If DW ain't happy, nobody's happy. :sad2:

That being said, since you have such a long resort stay planned, maybe you could come visit the Fort for an afternoon?

Bama we talked about that. We have done the Hoopie Dee Do a few times and we might go there for dinner one night and maybe see a movie. DW still doesn't know what resort she wants, toss up between Wilderness Lodge, Caribbean Beach, or Port Orleans Riverside.

Sometimes full fledged relaxation is a GREAT way to go.

Treehouse or a DVC one bedroom, especially OKW, are nice and relaxing.

Have a wonderful time. :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Thank John but relaxing is not what "she who shall be obeyed" is in to. Disney is the perfect place for her as she is go,go,go and my son says "mom likes to tour till you drop" Her close friend told me not to bring her on a cruise because it will drive her crazy.
