We had the most amazing trip last month. Everything was so amazing so I decided that I wanted to order the photopass. I think it is crazy that they only give you a month for edits and then $20 for only another 15 days....that's crazy. Now if their site worked properly, no problem it would be done. That is not the case however I can only get about 7 or 8 photos done in an hour that is how slow it is. I don't know what to do my pictures expire on the 13th and I can't even get the darned site to work. Not to mention sometimes the pictures and the borders do not match up. Like I have a picture of my kids with Belle yet there are no Belle borders as an option other than her signature then I'm looking at toy story pictures and the cutest chip and Mrs. Potts border is an option. If they can't improve their site they should allow more time for people to get their projects done without charging more money. I can only do an hour at a time because by that point I feel like I'm going to explode I'm so annoyed.

I noticed the same thing with the borders - I really wanted a picture for that border but I did not have one that made sense! I too wish that the site was faster.

Call them up and tell them about their technical difficulties. They will give you at least one extension for free.

We had photopass and we wanted to add some photos from our Wild Africa Trek into the photobook. There was a snafu with them mailing the CD, we didn't end up getting the CD until 2 weeks after our original deadline. They extended us twice.

Just make sure you give them a call BEFORE the expiration date.

I agree! It is painful to edit pictures on their website. We didn't even have that many and extension or not, I just couldn't bear to work on them anymore when I got close to the first expiration date. I didn't find the borders all that great and a lot of them blocked half our bodies. I doubt we'd order it again.

I've never used photopass, but will be during my next vacation...all I have to say is thank goodness im laid off for the winter so I can spend all my time editing pictures! Sounds painfully annoying!

We used photopass just a couple weeks ago and when I got home and looked at web site it only had two pics on it. What happened to 10 days worth of pics? Good thing i used my own camera also!

The best advice I can give to anyone planning to use Photopass is to always go in to check your photos before you leave Disney. If pictures are missing, they will do everything possible to help retrieve them, and that process is much easier when you are standing in front of them with approximate times, characters, locations, and similar pictures to help them know what to look for. We use PP every time we go, and at times have purchased CDs with close to 1000 pictures. Inevitably, one of the photographers machines didn't read the pass right, so pictures get lost. Always fun when multiple machines are actin up across the parks. While the process can be time consuming, it is definitely worth it all to have great pictures of memories.

Thanks so much for the advice to call. I called this morning to ask what I could do to help speed up the page on my end. She immediately offered a 10 day extension without missing a beat. She advised me to clear my cookies and temporary internet files and to use internet explorer. I'm going to do those things and I'm praying it will help. I would have been so upset to lose my pictures but I didn't want to order without all the edits I wanted since it is costly.
