OK, here's the thing. DH and I are going to Disney in 22 days, by ourselves, my parents are keeping our four children. It's the first time I have really left them for this long (five days) and the first time I have ever left the baby, our first EVER vacation on our own. So what do you think is bothering me, leaving the kids? Nope, it's my choice of resorts. Last June the whole family went, we stayed at the Poly concierge, totally loved it. I planned the whole trip to a T and it was perfect, DH was thrilled with me. Now the pressure is on to once again plan an enjoyable trip.
So I did my research, decided that the BWI concierge would be a fun place for the two of us to stay and booked a package with dining. So today we are talking with friends, and someone says "So where are you staying, the GF?" and dh says "no, we are staying in the place right by Epcot" I was so proud of him, he has been paying attention. That is I was proud until he said "you know, the place with the sand bottom pool"
Oh no, now what do I do? I think it's too late to change our reservations, do I just cross my fingers and hope he likes the BWI or try to switch when we get there. Let me just add that we have a pool at home, and I can't imagine he will really want to spend THAT much time in the pool without the kids around and when we visited the Boardwalk area last trip he said he would like to stay there someday.

You're going to WDW!!!! My motto is go with your first instinct. It is always a blast trying out new hotels, seeing what you like and don't like for future trips. My DH and I are going for a week in Nov. This is our 3rd trip there and we have stayed at a different hotel each time. We look forward to it. Have a great time with your hubby, enjoy the heck out of your child free Disney experience, it's a blast!!!
..Not to add any emotional distress, especially since you have made a decision.....HOWEVER,
,what if he really is looking forward to SAB! You will really have to have some major PIXIE DUST LUCK to change once you arrive. Sorry to add any turmoil/internal conflict.
