DVC SLOTS

I stalk the website often for various trips mainly because I am indecisive, I change my plans often, I change my plans last minute, and I go to Disney way too much now that I am a DVC owner. I am certified DVC gambling addict. I have the site up on my desktop in the background and so I am constantly pulling the lever hitting refresh and update all day long. In essence I am playing the DVC slots to see what I can score for that upcoming trip!

Often you can hear all the coins dropping in the background when a great room pops up.



Disclaimer: If you watch Disney Youtuber's you probably realize I basically stole this term from "Ear Scouts" he calls modifying LLMP reservations playing the Disney slots. Since this is DVC related I am going to take full credit for coming up with the term DVC Slots.

I need to join Disney's gamblers anonymous. I love playing that game! We got 3 nights in a BWV P/G room added to a reservation for the first week of Dec last year, 2 nights before we needed those nights. It was a huge score!

Well they were gambling just not DVC room slots . It’s too bad they made a bad decision as their videos were the only ones that consistently showed how much space was in the room with all of the beds flipped down.

I wonder if they ended up selling their contract.

Oh, what happened with Here with the Ears? I didn't know they got themselves in trouble

ETA: okay, saw on Reddit that they were allegedly monetizing giving park tours, possibly abusing DAS as well. Must have been devastating for them since they had sold everything to go live by WDW, oh well

Yep, I had watched them when deciding if I should buy DVC, I learned about them getting in trouble here then by googling. I saw them post their points for rent on FB. At first I thought someone hacked their profile picture, so I snooped and I guess they wrote a kids book about living at Disney World and they are opening a restaurant so it seems they are taking a step back from monetizing their DVC/Disney life.

oh goodness, I had never heard of them and didn't know anything about the drama around them!

He really is, I learned so much from his channel before our trip, cant believe I got the name of his channel wrong, thanks for pointing it out so I could correct it.

I stopped looking at the rooms for now because it was driving me insane and I dont have the points yet for the pit room upgrade I want and if it pops up for one or two nights I'm going to be tempted to do something stupid like modify the reservation I have for the whole stay or just be depressed that I don't have the points yet
