I am back *hugs all friends and new friends*
I am not sure if this is the place to post these posts so I am hoping I guessed right.
It has been a while since i have been here.

I posted in the Christmas thread because I am planing a Christmas trip next year. Yes i plan a year out but it helps me save and get excited.

I have been busy this past year. I got my ged, I am enrolled for some classes in spring. My son has been busy in school.

This year our family trip was the grand canyon, however next year trip planing has started.

My first part of planing is Dec 7th-to dec 11th 2014 :santa:(a late 30th b-day gift to my self) (nov 30th is just to close to thanksgiving for good price at desert inn so the 7th it is)

We are thinking about doing the city pass because my son wants to do sea world again.
We may be 3 (just us or 5 with my parents) Since my dad was sick and didn't see cars land last year)

We have never been to universal so think the city pass may be worth it. Since my son is insisting we go to sea world again.

Hoping my dad wont be sick or my son this time and we can have a good time.
I will want to do the tour that we never got to do. (last time it rained and my son was sick) this time id have extra things ready in case it rains and I can still go.)

If my parents go then grate. If not we have planed how we will get from DL, to Universal (using the bus and subway. Seems easy ) and we know how to get from DL to Sea world too.

I had said a while ago that I wanted to go to DL for my 30th b-day. But I will be fine going late or early seeing that nov 30th just costs to much because how close it is to thanksgiving.

The dates may change to mid nov as long as we are not going to miss the holiday times. It all depends.

Well this is all for now. I will be trying to come to dis boards once a day at least and help out again answering questions that i may know the answers to and get back in the community here.

Have a good day. :wizard: and may your days be sprinkled with Pixie dust.

I can give a big ole thumbs up :thumbsup2 to the City Pass. We have used it 3 times now and it works great. We usually just get a hotel outside of Disneyland and just do day trips to Sea World and Universal. I have never experienced any kind of problem with it at all.Well worth the savings.

Oh wow thank you. We are looking at staying in dl area for most of it, but as it will be 3 0bucks for a gray hound to sea world and same price for hotel that day as desert inn. We are thinking of doing it that way. That is if we do get the city pass. All that is a for sure is the dl trip. (as i was reminded.)

I was wondering how did you get from dl area to San Diego was it a car, cab or bus?

We fly into LAX from Iowa so we always rent a car so we have one to go and do other things while were in the area. Like we always go go Ruby's Diner at the Huntington Beach Pier, it has become a tradition for us. But I use to live in the area, so I know my way around.

You can also add on the San Diego Zoo or Wild Adventure in San Diego to the City Pass for an additional cost. It use to be included but got dropped unless you pay more. It is a one or the other thing, not both.

Like I said before, its a great purchase and saves you lots of money. We never have, but I think you can even add on days to Disneyland once you get there if you want to, you just have to pay for how many days you add on. But don't quote me on that one, becasue as I said, we have never done that. We have always found that 3 days at Disneyland is enough time to see it all, but we also do Disneyland commando style, opening to closing. But we also don't have any young children now, ours are all grown up and can go commando with us.

mine is 11 and knows when we go to DL it is a go all day time no brakes. Lol thanks. We may look at the cost to add days for end the day times. I may look at how much to just go from dl area to sea world for a day visit.
