I just got a call from my 4 year old niece and she wanted to know why was I a "tree" and why did I marry a "monkey"!
I thought that would make y'all laugh! Anyway, my other two niece's call me Auntie Treeze, because they couldn't say Tifany when they were younger and they call my husband Uncle Monkey because they used to climb all over him when they were smaller and he would make "monkey noises".
Now our youngest niece has picked up these names and insist on using them all of the time! You should see the looks we get when she calls across the room "auntie Treeze" or Uncle Monkey!
We do hear quite a few snickers out of people around us! So there you have it - I married a monkey!

DW's grandfather(long deceased) is known as "Bumpo" because her cousin (now 60) couldn't say his name as a child.
