Ok, I'm obviously not as vehement as most of the people in this thread, but I want to voice my annoyance with the Haunted Mansion part of Quests. The problem I have is that some people quit/dc partway through the game. To make matters worse, it doesn't count if you got the required Ghost Number, but the other person left.
As for the Fireworks portions, I can do rather easily. I have a laptop with a trackball (little eraser looking thing in the center of the keyboard, right?), and find that I can usually get around 220K if I'm lucky. I can get around 235K quite easily if I'm on my home computer with a mouse.
So, having a mouse does make all the difference really.
But I don't want to kill VMK. I don't even want them harmed. What angered me was how they handled the whole Pirates of the Caribbean 2 debacle. It disgusted me how little they did for the movie. They did not release a Black Pearl Room like we speculated. They did not release a costume to the public (via Quest or Shop). They just assumed we'd plug in 5,000 codes, then later make sure we went through the five minutes to get the code, rather than use a Code Generator.
Tell me, class, what 5,000 times 5 is? 25,000 minutes? 17 days of entering in codes for the full 24 hours.
I sure hope, for my sanity's sake, that a new Pirate costume is on its way come October.
