I am a little nervous!

I am off in half an hour to have my injections before our holiday to Antigua. I am not looking forward to it as my mom had to have 6!!!! i hope that i don't have to have that many, my own fault though for picking an exotic destination!!

i would be grateful for any hugs that are going spare.

Sorry Gems but I'm one of those sadistic nurses that likes giving injections!! Only the other week I did 30 flu jabs in the one day!!!!

thanks guys, i ended up having hep A, diptheria, polio and tetnus! both my arms ache like i have been at the gym for a week!

Scottish Malificent - The nurse that does them is really nice, she is very gentle, but I didn't get a lolly pop after the polio drops!!

*comfort* having injections is never fun. i got used to them in my teenage years. i had glandular fever when i was 13/14 and at one point was having 2 to 4 canisters of blood drawn a week so they could try and work out what was wrong with me.

i'll be having booster myself next year as we're off to the dominican republic in november.

Dont like injections at all, went to Acapulco 14 years ago and had to have a pile of injections, fainted twice.

The year before I went to give blood for the first time, with my then boyfriend who assured me it was a good thing to do and I would get nice tea and biscuits after, dont remember the tea or biscuits or giving the blood come to think of it, but do remember coming around with my boyfriend moaning about how heavy I was after he had to carry me the 1/4 of a mile home because we could not get a cab after I fainted. We split up not long after, and I went on a diet!!!

This year on my birthday I had to have a simple blood test for something and then spent the rest of the day in bed after yes you guessed it... I fainted.

What a wimp eh!

i never worry about fainting because I don't actually mind the injection too much, it's just the effect that it has afterwards that worries me, my one arm still feels like lead and according to someone at work who had the same injection two weeks ago hers still hasn't imporoved!!!!! how scary!
