I am a little confused?

I have not bought into Disney Vacation Club so how is it possible that I can still go to a DVC resort through other memebers. Is that what I am seeing or am I just confused? Please help me understand this. Thanks. I am very intersested in doing a vacation in the fall of the year at The Wilderness Lodge villas.

You could rent points or stay for cash through CRO/WTDC

What is CRO and WTDC?

CRO = Central Reservations Office
WDTC = Walt Disney Travel Company

These are the people you reach when you call Disney direct for a reservation

At least 4% of any DVC resort is held for cash reservations via CRO and WDTC

Often it is less expensive to rent points Sun-Thurs nights and pay cash for Friday and Saturday - the points to stay are higher for Fri/Sat than Sun-Thur
