Our new little pink bundle of joy came into the world at 4:32 this morning weighing 6 lbs 5 oz and 19 inches long!!
It was a very long day as her water broke at 1:15 in the afternoon!
Mother and Dad are doing great and are soooo darn cute with this baby!! when I went to see them today, they were both on the bed with the baby. When they fed the baby, they sat side by side and they both fed the baby. They both changed the baby and they both decided when her clothes should be changed.
I wish I could post a picture but my digital just quit working (wouldn't ya know it!) and all I could get was a one-time use camera. But as soon as "other" grandma e-mails me some of the pictures, I will try to post them.
Some of you may have read a post or two I made mentioning this pregnancy and that we were going through not being 100% sure if ds was the father. Well, he was right there when she was born, cut the cord and held her before anyone else. He took one look at this child and knew she was 100% his daughter!! He has fallen in love with this child and possibly back in love with the mother. We are so excited and have seen him magically grow up over night (literally!)
I wish I could explain the difference I see in my son. I had a boy in the house two days ago and now I see a man. He suddenly has a new outlook on life and is already making plans as to what he needs to do to make sure he can provide for this child and her mother.
