Over the years I have debated what kind of tickets to buy for each trip - Park Hopper Plus, Ultimate Park Hoppers, or Annual Pass. I've always wound up chosing Park Hopper Plus'. The one and only reason is that they never expire. If for whatever reason our trip has to be cancelled or postponed, or cut short while we're there, PHs will still be good on the next trip. On our last trip with my B-I-L and his family, the weather was horrendous on the day we had planned for Typhoon Lagoon. We ended up staying in at the resort that day. Our next trip is coming up May 2-12 and we'll still be able to use that plus feature we have left over.

I notice you seem to go at two year intervals and tend to stay off-site. Also that you do the water parks.

You might do a price comparison at http://allearsnet.com/pl/ticketchart.htm . It mmight be worth you while for at least one person in your group to get an Annual or Premium Annual pass. Note that both include free parking at the parks if staying off-site, and you can also get deep (45%) discounts sometimes for on-site rooms with an AP. Note for the rooms only one person in the group needs an AP.

If there is any chance that you will be going twice in a 12-month period then you should give very strong consideration to AP/PAP.
