when I pulled into the gas station and the price was under $3.00!!

Can't believe that I'm getting all excited because gas is under $3/gallon.

Anyone else getting gas that "cheap?"

And here in Illinois where we have the most expensive gas in the country, it's just now dipping below $4 a gallon

DH filled up yesterday at $3.49 I think. At its highest in the summer, it was $4.29 for regular unleaded, over $5.00 for diesel.

Relax everyone, it'll go back up about mid-November when the holiday travel starts.

It was $3.20 here last week and I was thrilled with that, looks like it's around $3.10 today. I have about 1/4 tank right now and since it seems to be going down lately I'm going to try to wait till tomorrow or Wednesday to fill up, hopefully it will be a bit lower by then. BTW we are in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

What? Where are you in Jersey? The lowest I've seen it so far was $3.15 and I've been hoping to see it go under $3.

It's kinda sad that going just under $3 would excite me. I usually spend $50+ on gas everytime I fill up. I remember when I first started driving and used to spend under $25 to fill up, and that was only about 7 years ago.

We are about $4.12-$4.02 here on O'ahu...except Costco is $3.74!!!!! And yes, the lines are down the street!!!!

Wow. We are still around $3.78-- that is when you can find a station that actually has gas to sell.

I'm in SC too, we are still at $3.69. Most gas stations now have gas, but won't have all kinds (maybe just the regular or the premium). I sure wish we could share in the excitement! (Although it is better than the $4.09 we were paying 3 weeks ago!)

Burlington County. It's $2.97 at the WaWa on 130N in Florence, right before the turnpike entrance.

It's probably cheaper a little further south of there, at least that's how it usually goes.

I second that- I was thrilled to see the price dip to $3.89 here in Charlotte. hopefully, by the time I need to fill up again, it will have dropped some more- I'd love to be able to fill up at around $3.50.

No kidding!!! I filled up on Friday for $3.89 and it went to $3.75 today and I almost fell over!! Wow --- can't believe some of these prices!!!

Well I didn't mean that far south! Just a little further south down 130.

When we moved to NJ a few years ago, everyone told us how nuts we were and how expensive NJ is. Well, now it actually pays our friends and family in PA to pay the toll to cross the Burlington-Bristol Bridge and buy their gas on the other side of the river. One of the few perks of being a NJ resident is the relatively "cheap" gas.
