I live in SC...although not near I-95....here's a site that might be helpful to you..

Unfortunately i cant post a link for you...but do a google search for "sc dot" the first link will be of the Dept of Transportation. You can select the road/area you are travelling in and get the conditions. There are also plenty of webcams to checkout things.
