Just drove back today from the Tampa area. Light traffic for a holiday weekend. Construction wasn't active at all, but still there was some slowdowns in FL just north of Jacksonville, and again in GA around mile marker 30's.
Worst stretch of driving was in SC off I-95, starting west on I-26. Combined our traffic with Charleston, SC beach traffic heading home, and it bogged down all the way to Columbia, but never fell below the speed limit for more than a few minutes at a time.
Law enforcement visable in SC north of Columbia, but only saw 2 cars pulled all day, anywhere.
Gas prices in GA were lowest at 2.679, and in SC the same (believe it or not).
Last bit of info: from the NC/SC line to WDW is @ 540 miles. That makes it @ 553 miles from the Charlotte, NC intersection of I-77 and I-85.
If anybody needs any more info, be glad to help.
