I-75 North Traffic at Rock Slide 4/9/16

My route home includes I-75 North in Tennessee that currently has a rock slide. Has anyone traveled this route in the last couple days? How was it? Should I find another route even if it adds a couple hours to my trip?

I was on I75 north a couple weeks ago (both lanes were closed). The detour added maybe 20 minutes to the trip.

Also, when are you going? Currently, I think one NB lane is open. According to a quick google search, the entire project is supposed to be finished by the 15th.

I echo Sam's comment. I've been doing some digging and found the same info. I'll be coming back the second week in May and can let you know for sure.

I live in Tennessee just south of the slide. All lanes are open again.
