Soooo...

I know that wedding attire is not normally allowed within the theme parks during "normal operation".

but somehow I started to wonder, Would you be able to get away with a "Wedding Attire Costume" during MNSSHP??

After attending an outdoor wedding this weekend here in PA, the thought about how if/when I get married that october weather in Florida would probably be much more ideal.

Which in turn, made me think about how F&W and MNSSHP would be going on during that timeframe....

Which then lead to the question of, Hypothetically speaking... If I was involved in a Disney Wedding, Would we be able to go to MNSSHP while in our wedding attire since we could just say it was a costume?

Any thoughts? opinions? hypothetical issues? ;)

I'm sure I read somewhere about a bride doing this or at least a discussion going on about it. May be worth doing a thread search. I'm not sure what Disney's stance would be on this issue.

The one issue that springs to mind is that your costume cannot drag on the floor and they can't interfere with your ability to board and unboard attractions and WDW transportation system.

Suits would probably be fine but a great big dress not so much :confused3

To wear in the parks I got DF a tuxedo shirt and myself a white summer dress so go with our bride and groom ears

Exactly what I was going to say! I think the suggestion of a tux shirt and a little white dress would be a good option... Along with your bride and groom ears! ;)

I saw some pretty elaborate costumes during the Pirates and Princess party. There were people dressed up at Belle or Cinderella with big poofy skirts that dragged just a bit at the back. Honestly, with the reports of brides in the parks during normal hours and no one knowing they shouldn't be there, I bet you could get away with it no questions asked during a Halloween party.

Our wedding is October 28th of next year, and we're having a morning ceremony and brunch reception so we're going to have a lot of time afterwards. Soo, I'm going to suggest we all go to MNSSHP. If we go I'm probably just going to get a shorter white dress and wear it. Or something like that, haven't decided yet. :)
But, I think as long as it's not some huge dress, you would probably be able to get away with it.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who thought of something like this. Granted, I probably won’t do it since I’m not actually getting married in Disney and will only be there for our honeymoon, but the thought did cross my mind that this would probably be the one time I could get away with it. lol
