Hypothetical for 10/7

We live maybe twenty minutes from property, so we go for meals there every once in a while. Our favorite breakfast place is Trail's End. We think it's the best value for the price when it comes to breakfast on property. There are also a bunch of QS locations that we like, such as Blaze at DS, Columbia Harbor House, Contempo Cafe, and Sunshine Seasons.

What CS places would you recommend at Springs?

Food has really changed there since they have opened all the new stuff... I haven't been to too many places but we're going out of our way to check out all of them.

Kiosks:
- Aristocrepes: favorite of my daughter but I like them also.
- BB Wolfe's sausage company: if you're a sausage or hot dog lover, it's a step up from the normal.

The interesting thing about these 2 is they are on the opposite ends of that new bridge between trex/lego and rainforest cafe. My daughter has a severe allergy to an ingredient generally found in hot dogs and sometimes sausages. She'll grab an aristocrepe and I'll get something from bb wolfes.

Quick Service:

Raglan Road: the quick service section found in the back closer to morimoto (on the river side). I honestly don't remember this being here in the past but I must have just missed it. Probably the best fish and chips on property and it's real fries, not frozen disney goto brand. Also have a nice irish ice cream. They take tables in wonderland or AP so it's a good discount for a reasonable priced, fresh cooked quick meal. And there is a bar on that side as well which is generally not as crowded.

Morimotos street food: This can be hit or miss because some of the dishes are similar to that supermarket sushi sat around for awhile taste. They do have some interesting other options and usually a noodle soup that isn't on the menu. There is samples of everything set out so if you see the soup, ask about it. The soup I like and they have some of their variations of a taco that I like as well. Freshly plated but not freshly cooked so be wary of the weather and it's all outdoors including the food prep.

House of blues: the hot dog thing with my daughter has her fearful of eating at house of blues. Sometimes it's a nice change of pace if I'm alone at springs. This is the QS counter (I forget the full name of the window/booth they have)

Don't really go to anymore:

Puck Express (either of them): I just find the other options to be better tasting but I woudln't rule it out but I was never a huge fan before, just the better tasting of the old options and the new ones have put it in that need to freshen up the menu and step up the game situation.

Earl of Sandwich: this isn't 100% true as I have been there recently, I do really like earl but I find it a little on the pricey side compared to others for the portion size. I have to be in that overpriced sandwich mood and publix makes some killer sandwiches so generally takes out with someone that wants it for me to stop there.

D-Lux burger: Not the best burgers in the area and not worth the price to me. I also got sick after I tried them the first time but to be fair, I don't think it was food poisoning. I think I was on the edge of being sick anyway and it just helped speed it up with how they season things. Taste is great but price doesn't line up with a quick burger. (I also know some amazing 2-3 hour lines for burger places in nyc and this place doesn't compare with them at all). So in short, it's relative to what your used to eating and what your willing to pay for a flavorful burger.

Honorable mention:

Like Pete has mentioned on the podcasts, I have started to look for what movie at AMC has the dine in theater or whatever they call it this year. Not the greatest food but good enough and really convenient to run out of the house and just head straight to the movies and be home a normal hour.
