For anyone who has been to the parks this week, any idea how early Hyperspace Mountain FPs sell out for the day? I'm planning on going to the park on Friday, but won't be able to get there till the early afternoon. Not sure if we should bother venturing into TL for a FP by then, or just bypass the ride till the holiday crowds dissipate in January. I'll check the Disneyland app tomorrow afternoon to try to get a sense, but was curious if anyone else could provide info. Thanks!

Looking at the app right now, it is a 75 minute wait without an FP

Monday I think they were gone by 10:30 or so. (9 a.m. opening.) I'd say chances are slim to none that there will be FPs left on a Friday afternoon. You can always call Otto on your way in, though.

Today was day 2 but also a mid-week day. I think the app said they lasted until noonish? I doubt on a Friday they will last until very late, but other then the first day craziness the reports I'm seeing show it has mellowed out a lot

Thanks for posting about this. DH and I are heading to DLR next week and he's super excited about riding Hyperspace Mountain.

I've seen people talking about calling Otto...what does that mean?

Looking at the Disneyland app, fastpasses for HSM are already gone for the day at 10:20 am. Disneyland opened at 9am today. On the other hand, the standby wait time is listed at 45 minutes which isn't too terrible.

Yeah I'm just checking the app at noon and it has a 55 minute wait, which isn't terrible. Think I'll play it by ear on Friday and perhaps try to ride near the end of the night, otherwise I'll wait till January. Thanks for the intel guys!

I've been here all week and HSM FPs go quickly. A large percentage of the crowd at rope drop heads straight there, which creates a really long line for FPs. Yesterday 10 mins after opening the line to get FPs stretched all the way back to the exit of Star Tours and then wrapped back toward Innoventions. It went pretty quickly though (about a 5-7 min wait to get to the machines) because cast members are present all around the line directing everyone. On Monday a cast member led the line from rope drop to HSM to prevent everyone from running. They didn't do that Tuesday for early entry and it was a mad rush. One benefit to all the craziness in Tomorrowland has been the shorter lines everywhere else in the park.

Sounds like I may need to rethink my EMH strategy from TL rides, back to PP and FL rides...

Has anyone used the DAS for HSM? I have difficulty with stairs so I get a return time usually. I was wondering how this was being handled? And if there was still a long wait when I return?

It'll be our first time this weekend to experience the Star Wars activities. My plan was for me to get the HSP FP's while DH and the kids go to Launch Bay to do the meet and greet. I'd meet them after I got the FP's. Now I'm afraid it'll be so crazy crowded that I'll have a hard time finding them or meeting up w/them (people yelling at me that I'm cutting). Anyone have any experience w/this or any suggestions? TIA!

Today was much more calm than previous days. The park opened at 8am. We were at rope drop and went straight to HSM for FPs. The line was fully contained within the ramp area and only took a couple of mins to get them. In general, the park felt less crowded today. I used my HSM FPs at 9:05am and FPs were being distributed at that time for about 11am. At 5pm, there were still Star Tours FPs with return times at about 6:30pm and the standby was 35 mins. HSM seemed to peak at about a 45 min standby wait today.

We just used my husband"s DAS for HSM on Tues. and Wed., they just give you a return time for however long the standby line is posted. So if the wait time in the standby line is an hour long, you will get a return time for an hour later.
ETA: the FP line to get on the ride went really fast, you shouldn't have to wait long.

Keep in mind that if you're there for rope drop, Launch Bay doesn't open until 10:00.

The queues for the Chewie and Vader M&Gs are difficult to meet back up with the rest of your family until they're at the front (the queues wind back and forth through metal bar barriers) but when you get to the front right before entering, you could walk up to meet them by going through the exit area (along the sides of the queue) and can meet up with them.

Thank you! I think we will get our HSP FP's at rope drop or close to rope drop time. What time do you think we should line up for Launch Bay? I assume the line gets long quickly before opening time. Do you think 9:15 is early enough? Really want to meet Vader & assume he will have an insane line!

This afternoon was our first time visiting the Launch Bay, and we got there around 2:00 and stayed till about 4:00 and it never felt too crowded. Other reports posted on Disboards as well as other forums indicated that this week, the mornings were busier than the afternoons. But it is Saturday tomorrow...

They weren't gone at 10:20am on wednesday. We were there Wednesday and pulled fp at 10:45a for HSM with a return time of 2:35-3:35pm. Not sure what's up with the app's info there, but they definitely weren't gone at 10:20am.
