hydroflask?

I have one (blue) that is also textured. My daughter's pink one is also. To my knowledge, only the white powder coat model and the stainless steel do not have the texture.

I personally like the texture.
Thanks! I don't know what it is, but the texture just bothers me. :confused3 Go figure!

I understand what you mean. I have 1 Hydroflask that is smooth and 2 that are slightly rougher in texture. The last 2 were purchased well after the 1st, so they may have changed color paints in that time! It doesn't bother me though.

I have 3 and I love them. They really do keep water cold forever!! Great for taking something like milk to WDW for your kiddo, because you know it will stay cold all day long.

I have several with everything from 12 ounces to the 48 or 64 ounce Growler and love them all.

Ooh!! I am going to have to check out the Growler! It's been awhile since I've been on their site and I never noticed the big sizes. I use one every day at work and my kids each have one. They are great for the kids' sports - and even better if I can find the larger sizes. They're pricey but soooo worth it! They last a long time!

$49 is a big chunk change, but I got mine during the DMA sale last year.

I bought two and gave one away.

The recipient doesnt let it out of his sight. He loves it.

Is it true that these will keep cold even in a car in the Florida heat? Thinking about one of these now that we're here permanently.

Folks sorry to hijack the thread.
We have two hydroflasks. 12oz is great and is cold at the end of a park day.
21oz only keeps the water cold until lunch-time. It is stainless steel whereas the 12oz is red (albeit quite scraped).

The good morning America deal was great.
Hydro flasks are great in the AZ heat. The growler and the 40oz with the flip top are good for ice water, the 18oz wide mouth with flip top is perfect for coffee.

Really? I have a 21oz stainless flask, and I have left it in my car all day long in full sun to find water still cold when I come out of the office. Yes, the ice has melted down, but sometimes there are even still chips of ice in there (if I put a lot of ice in when I fill it). This is in NJ during the summer, when temps can get into the upper 90's easily, so not quite Florida hot, but plenty warm.

I have found the same -in the car at the beach ...ice still in the flask

We have stainless steel as well - a 24 oz narrow mouth and a 64 oz growler. Both keep ice through the next day. I suspect you may have a defective bottle. My son has the 24 oz one - he literally dropped it down concrete stairs at rec camp last summer ... days after we gave it to him :scared1:. It has many dents and scratches, but it still keeps ice cold water for 24 hours, it just doesn't sit completely flat any more :lmao:.

I bought a Hydroflask, and while it is a superior water bottle, I can't use it because the painted surface feels really odd to my hands, and I just don't like holding it.

We have quite a few bottles, but a mix of smooth and textured. We have red, pink, blue and purple that are textured. The two Stainless steel bottles we are are smooth. We also have two painted ones that were special colors - a bright vivid yellow and a sparkly green - both 18 oz I think, they were offered as limited time special colors for special occasions - those are both painted, but smooth surfaced, no texture. I suggest contacting them and asking which colors if any are smooth vs. textured.

Maybe you could put a drink cozy on your bottle and use it, We use our every day and I have also suggested them to family and they love theirs too, They do carry them at Eastern mountain sports.:thumbsup2

Ok, I am just now catching up to the thread, as I have been in the hospital the last week, and my 6 month old the week before. I am off to email, and talk a lot about cats, and cats, and more cats! I am crossing my fingers!!!!!
