HydroFlask DISCount for Disers...

Just ordered ours but had to use Amazon they were sold out in the color we wanted on the website. It seems the sports caps are sold out. Anyone know when they will be available again?

Call them about colors...although some of the colors are sold out, apparently they switched computer programs and some colors are appearing to be sold out when they really are not. I found this out when I called to see how long I would have to wait if I back ordered a certain color only to find out it was in stock. I know it's to late for you, but maybe this will help others ordering...

They posted this on Facebook just a while ago:

Yes! They are in now. You can call them at 888-58-HYDRO (584-9376) To order. They are now up on the site also.

Just wanted to THANK YOU THANK YOU Kevin :worship: for letting us know about this product. It is very very cool...literally! :lmao: It keeps my water cold all day without sweating, and in this Alabama heat, that is quite an accomplishment. And to know I was able to give 5% back to GKTW, well that's just awesome :thumbsup2 So thanks again!

Just placed my order. :cool1: Ya'll must have gotten all the good colors before I got around to ordering. :rotfl2: I thought about ordering through Amazon, but decided it was worth the lack of perferable colors in order to give to GKTW. :thumbsup2 Plus, I figure if I like it as much as I think I will, I'll want to order another any way! :)

I was just able to order the sports caps online. They emailed me that they are now available. Whoo Hoo!

Yes! They are BEYOND any other water bottle you could ever use. I just got home from school shopping at the mall and my water still has ice in it from this morning (I got a small one to keep in my purse when out and about).

Bottom line:

Cold liquids stay cold for 24 hours
Hot liquids stay hot for 12 hours
Doesn't sweat!

Ok... wow, those numbers are impressive and the lack of sweat. Cool... numbers always help convince me.

I got my sports cap yesterday and tested it out. I filled the bottle with ice and water. There is still ice in it today.

Just ordered my first bottle, along with a sports cap....can't wait to try it out!

So here is the story:
I carry my stainless steel water bottle in the side pouch of my backpack. While, I was walking through the halls at school, I had a need to go through the dreaded four way intersection (imagine 200 people coming in 4 different directions all trying to get through one 12X12 place at once). Needless to say I got pushed around a bit, but at one point someone pushes by and knocks the water bottle out of my backpack. Well, I never knew that stainless steel can crack, but it did and my tea fell in a puddle onto the tile intersection. Well, tile and liquid don't mix well, so as I walked away with broken water bottle in hand kids were slipping and sliding all over the place. All I could think as I continued on my way to English class way WOOHOO now I can get a hydroflask!

I do have a few questions though. I like to drink as I walk, and I have had issues with that in the past (my old water bottle had a standard mouth). Does the narrow mouth eliminate the problem of getting your beverage all over you as you walk?

Also, when you unscrew the hydroflask cap, does it squeak?

I know what you mean about walking and drinking. Also driving and drinking. Not "safe" to tilt your head back to sip.

Would you consider a vacuum double wall insulated water bottle with a sipping straw (that is not a Hydroflask, but does keep beverages very cold)?
If so, let me know. There is also a model with a smaller sipping spout.

Covert Thermos sales?:lmao:

Hi Gibson -

I have the 18oz narrow Hydroflask bottle. I can easily walk on my treadmill and drink from the bottle without spilling it on myself, which is major accomplishment since I ALWAYS spill something ...

The top is a bit squeaky when you unscrew it, but I think a lighter and slower touch would remedy that situation.

If you do order one, don't forget to get the DIS discount and after you receive it - do the 5% donation to GKTW :thumbsup2

Hey Gibson,

John and I have the 18 oz narrow neck flasks and we love them.

I can walk and drive and drink without spilling.

Yesterday, John was making coffee. He accidentally added the flavored creamer that I like to his coffee. He doesnt like it that way.

I poured the extra coffee (with the creamer) into the HydroFlask and hours later, the coffee was still too hot to drink.

I've not had a problem with a squeaky cover. I justvtried both and there was no sound.

Hope that helps.

I would recommend the sports cap for the narrow mouth bottle. I have had problems spilling with the narrow mouth but the sports cap solved the problem.

Smilin' :goodvibes at ya all.
(nope, I am not covertly selling anything with my suggestion)

When I drive, I try not to take my eyes off the road, so I am thrilled to have a bottle where I do not have to til my head back to drink.

I am not a coffee drink. Or even hot chocolate. I have never learned to like drinking anything that is "too hot to drink" or even just plain hot. I think it means that I have not "grown up" yet.

I have found that I can not always drink and do stairs at the same time. A few weeks ago, I tripped going up the stairs and hit my head on the wall. Ouch! Yes, my bottle survived.

Over ten years ago, it was much worse. I was headed out for a really fun day. Home-made smoothie in a travel mug. Bag with stuff over my shoulder. I think the bag stap got caught on the top of the banister. I flew down the stairs (did not bounce like Tigger), landed at the bottom with a crash. I broke through a window. I was a crumbled mess and could not move. Stephen called 911. Police, fire and ambulance all there within minutes. I ended up in the hospital overnight with a heart contusion. Ached all over, and so sore and stiff I was out of work for a week. And yuck! I had dried up smoothie in my hair!

So much for my drinking stories! Hope you all got a good smile and a laugh.:dance3:

Gibson,

I have had my Hydroflask for a few weeks and have been using it both in the outdoors and professional work environment. Mine is the standard mouth and does not sqeak when opened. Another positive attribute to the Hydroflask is its sleek design and lack of sweating. I have taken the hydroflask to several business meetings lately and it is nice knowing you can set in on conference tables and not worry about creating a ring on the table. The subtle colors also give it a professional look.
