Hydroflask Deal

The DIS code has expired.

My challenge is in needing a sipping valve of some kind for the 40 oz. version.
I was able to find another water bottle brand cap that does fit, but it does not seal well enough to fully prevent leakage around the lip. I'm kind of befuddled as to why HF the company does not make a valve for all of their sizes.

They just came out with a new wide mouth top
Not sure if that will help but worth a look. We ordered 2 today.

My two flasks came while I was at the beach last week! It was a nice surprise on my door step when I got home!

I have had my hydroflasks for about 3 weeks now and one of them sounds like it has broken glass inside. Has anyone else experienced this? Has anyone ever returned anything, I just want a replacement. Not sure if it was that way when we got it or if it was something we did to it. I didn't know they had a glass component to them, I thought they were sturdy.:confused3

Yes there customer service is really good.

I bought 4 of them and one was not keeping water cold for more than 4 hrs. I used the contact us form on the site and in an hour I had a response to my situation. All they need was my basic shipping information for a FedEx label to send it back. And i got that in 2 days.

That top does work well - thanks for the referral! I've had much more success since it arrived.

We have the same issue with our wide mouth one.. I think we will call this week as well as we have not really even used it yet.

Glad you like it... We feel the same way as when driving unscrewing, drinking and putting the top back on has been disastrous.

I just wanted to say that I absolutely love my hydroflasks, both the disboards version and the others I bought after I saw how amazing they are.

I fill mine up in the morning, leave it in my car in the hot Florida sun, 99 degrees in my car when I got in this afternoon, and my water is still cold and frozen and so refreshing.

I don't understand how it works but it works. I'm suing the standard sport bottle top now instead of the screw on top and it melts a little bit quicker but still stays cold all day!!!

Gotta tell you for how great everyone says their customer service is, I am not impressed. I called yesterday morning and they were too busy "hydrating the world" to pick up the phone so I was dumped into their voicemail, I hate that you can't just get in the queue to hold for a customer service rep. I didn't leave a message but instead went to their website and sent an e-mail to their customer service. As of this morning there was still no reply to my e-mail so I called back and again got the voicemail where I did leave a message and they still haven't called me back. I tried calling again this afternoon and have again been dumped into voicemail. Did the people who say they have great customer service have the same hurdles and I'm high maintainance or is their customer service slipping? :confused3

I finally got through to an operator who told me that the jingling that sounds like glass is actually a little disk that helps absorb moisture that has become unwelded between the layers. She says it in no way affects the safety or effectiveness of my hydroflask but if I want I can send it back for a replacement. I'd have to pay on my own to send it back though. I guess I can live with the jingling.

Since the company is based in Oregon, there's a three hour time difference for us on the East Coast. I wouldn't try to call before 11 or 12 at the earliest. Since they are a reasonably small company, I doubt they have 24/7 customer service lines.

No I didn't try to call at any off hours, I called after 8 PST. I also e-mailed and left a message. When I fianlly did talk to someone, because I stayed on the line for an operator, she was very nice and told me they were short staffed this week because a lot of people took vacation. She was nice but I'm still really disappointed with their customer service.
