Hyatt???

Hi Everyone,

Does the Hyatt still have a day room rate if your plane doesn't take off for an extended amount of time post disembarkment? If so, how do I get it?

(does this make sense...I'm tired!)

Yeah we used to e able to book in advance but last time we had trouble and had to check the day of.

i just booked our day rate room, but had to call to do it. It was $109 for a king bed or $119 for 2 queens. Check in is 10am & check out is 6pm. You get full access to pools & amenities as if a regular guest. But for sure could not do it online, had to call.

As everybody said above, you must call to make the reservation. I want to say we were back at MCO around 9 am this last time.... we checked in at the desk, and they called when our room was ready - which was only 10 or 15 minutes later. So we were in well before 10:00.

WE were able to get our day room! Other than the pool, what else is there to do? Are there open areas in the airport that you can hang out around that are before TSA?

In the Hyatt, the Hemisphere restaurant has a nice view of the airport.

In the rest of the airport, there are a couple of large atriums and a good bit of shopping on the land-side of MCO. Disney Stores, Universal Stores, Sea World Stores, Kennedy Space Center Stores (there's a pattern here somewhere). As far as restaurants go, there's a food court a Macaroni Grill.

There's plenty of shopping and restaurants before going through security. We were also able to stop in at the TSA PreCheck sign up office - since we had our passports for the cruise - and signed up for that service. We spent most of our time trying to nap and watch tv in our room.
