I just booked on priceline and got the Hyatt Regency for $44. Is this a nice hotel? We usually stay at the Hilton through priceline and have always liked it. Has anyone else stayed at the Hyatt? Any reviews? It looks nice from the pictures.

We recently booked that hotel for our trip in 16 days. The reviews look good on it, so I'm not worried. They also have a free shuttle which has great reviews too. When is your trip? I take plenty of pictures of my hotel room, if yours is after mine I'll post them so you can see.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt last December. We had a 2 bedroom suite which fit the 6 of us very comfortably. The concierge was very helpful when I asked for assistance in buying a cake to celebrate my son's birthday while we were there. She ordered the cake for me at a grocery store's bakery, and then she picked it up for me and had it in our room waiting for us when we arrived. There is also a free shuttle bus that goes to Disneyland.

:offtopic: Hey welcome to the Dis... Charger Girl eh? :thumbsup2 Wow you guys got robbed this past weekend!

I stayed there about 2 weeks ago for the first time. My company booked a 2 day trip to DL & DCA and we all stayed there. We were all impressed with the rooms and the staff was great and very helpful. :) The only tough experience we all faced was getting on their shuttle bus. We would wait for the shuttle to pick us up from the park and all of a sudden a whole flock of people (arriving after us) would just rush towards the bus and cut in front of us. You sort of have to fight your way on. :scared: Other than that, the room was lovely and they had comfy pillows. :cloud9:

We stayed there in the end of August, although we paid $60 through PL. Good job!

Then you'll pay $15 a night for parking.

It's not near enough to walk, but they have a shuttle that leaves every half hour for drop off and pick up.

They have a starbucks and pizza hut express inside. They also have a nicer little grill thing - and kids eat free for lunch and dinner, although it's a little pricey.

We thought the rooms were nice - big, clean, updated, you get the picture.

Have fun!

PS we also got Hyatt through PL for a good rate two years ago for Christmas, so it looks like Hyatt is a big participator with them!

We were so robbed!!!! I was so mad watching that play:headache:  I did see where the ref is being given a bad grade from his association for this call...not that it does anything now. Oh well, there's always next week!!

Thanks for the welcome!!

Oh I am so glad that it sounds like a nice place!!:thumbsup2 and that we got it for a good price! We are going to the hotel on Saturday and Disneyland on Sunday! We are AP holders so we have the free parking option so I won't have to worry about the shuttle. I hope that the crowds are low, I have missed DL all summer since I was on blackout days, lol. We are so excited to go back!

We always love staying at the Hyatt. We also have gotten it thru Priceline for many of our stays. I don't know if they still let you, but you can upgrade to a kidsuite for an extra $45 per night. We had done that in the past (still a good deal if your Priceline rate was $40-$50).

The Priceline rooms at the Hyatt are standard 2 doubles (I just had a brain lapse and don't remember if the standard rooms had a fridge). If you upgrade to a kidsuite, you would have a fridge and microwave. There is a Starbucks in the lobby. The hotel restaurant is really pricey, so we always head out for breakfast when we stay there. We usually go to Mimi's or have breakfast in the park.

Adjacent to the hotel is a Target, where we have bought breakfast food and our bottled water. Next door to that Target is a fabulous Dollar Store where we have bought our Disney souvenirs (really nice Disney-themed stationary, great for kids). Several blocks down the road on Chapman is a Vons supermarket.

Across the street are many restaurant choices like Outback, Red Robin, and Joe's Crabshack. A short drive away on Katella is the new Anaheim Garden Plaza with Cheesecake Factory and Bubba Gump's.

Joe's Crabshack has good food :goodvibes: I believe there are 2 IHOP restaraunt's close to the hotel. My family and I dined at one of them. We were shocked by their prices. It's a lot more expensive than other IHOP's (I always thought they had the same price at all IHOP's but I was wrong). I guess it's due to the location and because most tourists go there.

We avoid the Ihops on Harbor, or really in Anaheim. lol We go to Millie's, Mimi's or Denny's for breakfasts, they have much better prices. Our last trip we ate breakfast at Millie's every day and DBF and I shared our plates. Plenty of food for both of us and good too!! That's a bit away from the Hyatt though. :) I would just go to the Gardenwalk restaurants or the ones near your hotel, Joe's is super good!! Enjoy your stay!!
