Long time no see Troops

Jeez what a lot as happened to me since i was last here

Anyways just been searching for a nice week away in Sept once the kids go back to school and i came across Virgin doing package deals to the above hotel for £202 for 7 nights

Now even i know thats rather cheap for the 8th,9th and 10th of Sept

What i'm trying to find out (And you nice poeple have never let me down before) is it worth staying at the above hotel without a car

It says the like's of I/Drive is 10miles away but 10miles in Orlando are like 30miles in liverpool

Anyways if anyone can give me any info i'll be really gratful, I'm looking to book the holiday early next week

Hi Tony,

Nice hotel, but I wouldn't want to do it without a car. I assume they offer some sort of shuttle service or you wouldn't even be considering it - it's actually in Orlando International Airport and about 30 minutes from all the attractions.

Hi Tony !! Wow - it has been ages!!

Nice hotel but I'd only use it maybe on an arrival evening - I don't think I'd feel I'd completely arrived!!

It is quite a way from the parks and with only a week to spend, you need to be near the action, particularly without a car!

We usually go for 3 weeks but I've had two one week holidays there now and being close to the parks was an essential so we didn't waste any valuable time (and shuttles inevitably will restrict your coming and going too)
