Hyatt Regancy Grand Cypress Hotel

I will be coming here in Mid-June with my family, has anyone stayed here, and if-so, can you please tell me what it's like. Thx.

Grand Cypress is a beautiful property, with plenty of resort amenities. You really need to set aside a day or so just to spend at the resort to enjoy all they have. They have excellent water features - numerous pools, with slides and caves that you can swim through. as well as a few hot tubs. There are bikes available for rental to drive around the whole property. They have an equestrian center if you are interested in horseback riding. They also have paddle boats, sail boats, and other water "toys" that you can use on their private lake. You can also just lay in the hammock and relax. In the evening on the week-ends they have a fire pit and kids can make smores. During the day they also have numerous games for kids (i.e. duck races, find the coin, etc.) You should really try to book Regency Club if you can. That way, you can go to the Regency club and get free breakfast, appetizers during the day, drinks at night. They also have a shuttle to go to the parks if you did not want to drive. You will have a great time.

Travel channel just did a segment on this hotel on their "Great Hotels" program. I haven't actually stayed there, but it looks great. While some of the regular Hyatt's have gotten a bit rough around the edges (though still decent), the Upscale Hyatts (Grand, Cypress, Regency, etc.) are amazing. I have honestly never stayed in a bad upscale Hyatt. In fact if I travel somewhere, I always check for a Grand/Regency Hyatt in the area.
