Hyatt & Luggage

The time we stayed at the Hyatt the night before, I was hesitant to leave the luggage unattended in the halls. That's just beyond my comfort level, especially when it's never just clothes in the bags. I left them partially in the room, leaning up against the open door, with the TV on. That way they could be seen from the hall, but no one knows whether or not there was someone sitting in the room with an eye on them.

To me, not only is there the theft issue....in general, this seems to be a security issue. Anyone could walk up and stick something in an unattended suitcase sitting in a deserted hallway. No one has to pass through security to check into the Hyatt.

OurDogCisco Just curious -- what limo company was that?

It was happy limo. As matter fact on our 3 day cruise I had to ride with stroller on my lap because there was no room on the way home. On the way there the driver had no problem fitting everything in and we had been at WDW for 6 days prior so we had ton of stuff. Probably won't use them again. I even gave them a 2nd chance thinking it was a fluke thing. But it wasn't.

I have heard a lot of complaints of late about them. My travel agent even said not to use them -- they left several of her clients stranded. We tried a new one on the recommendation of a previous poster -- and I HIGHLY recommend them. Excellent service, amazingly quick responses, courteous drivers and they fit 9 pieces of luggage in both a town car and a limo (two trips). Their prices were very reasonable. Their name is Southern Elegance Limousine.

When we couldn't get back to PC on 9/3, I contacted them when I got home and they immediately refunded that portion of our trip.

Their website is www.southernelegancelimousines.com
