Hyatt at the airport

We are going to be staying our first night at the Hyatt. I noticed that they will pick up your luggage for you if you give them your luggage tags upon check in for a small fee.

I'm curious if anyone has used this service and if so, how they found it? My main concern is that your luggage would be going around on the carousel while you are checking in and that someone might up and run off with it.
